Sickened along with all of you at the gross incompetence and ignorance of humanity all the way to the stinkbomb at the top: The George Bush Administration who I never thought would be the symbol of what we have become, I have wept openly for this tragic city and the beautiful coast and can't get past this loss. For it is a horrendous loss.

THEY CAN'T FIX THIS.

You can't bring back a city in its death throes or any of it's people that have perished. All that can be done is donations and prayers.

This is my first diary. I will probably make mistakes perhaps drawing down wrath upon my head but I received something so damning in an email (from a relative who is both educated and wealthy and yes of course, Republican) that I want to put it where it has the potential of a heads up to alert of that which I see nothing spoken except by the Right. My wish is for a solid debunking by all you dkos debunksters.

I think the majority of red state America takes this as gospel and there is killing, torture, incredible cruelty, deportations, hate and perhaps not so new racism going on all over the world as I write and I'm sure innocent people are being damned as "Jihadists".
