Updated -A Beautiful Moment - With Wingnuts, Profanity & Poll

I had a beautiful moment on my way home this afternoon with 2 twenty-something wingnuts.  First the setup.  I live in the hills above Apple Valley, CA.  My rep is Jerry (Hookers & Bribes) Lewis.  Two of my nearest neighbors had Bush/Cheney yard signs. Join me below the fold.

I have a 136 mile round trip commute - yeah, I know.  I am a lifelong Dem and I HATE this war and this Maladministration.  So, to take advantage of the thousands of cars I pass every day, I freeway blog with bumperstickers on my pickup.  They are:
Support the troops
Bring them home

No One Died When Clinton Lied

If you aren't completely appalled
You haven't been paying attention

*Give Impeachment a Chance* Every time we mix religion & politics
People end up getting burned at the stake

I don't have to like Bush
To love my country

On the side windows

We're making enemies faster than we can kill them

I'm tooling up the Cajon Pass on I 15 when a pickup with two twenty-somethings with backward baseball caps and goatees pull alongside me at 75 mph and flip me off while screaming "Fuck you, you pussy liberal."

I am never one to back down, a major flaw at times, I know.  I have a booming voice and I returned the salute and yelled back, "Fuck you you Cowards.  You love this war, get your chicken asses into the army and go fight in Iraq."

The look on both their faces was priceless.  They're eyes were shocked-open and their mouths were gaping slack-jawed.  They dropped behind me so fast it was funny.  For the couple of miles before I turned off, they stayed 1/4 to 1/2 mile behind.

While not a very diplomatic act, I saw the look of shock in their eyes and what I hoped was a little spark of recognition. This made my day.  Thanks for dropping by.
